Hi,
We're Nick & Thomas Romero, we’re 30 year old twins living with autism. We were born in Ventura CA and have been living in Camarillo CA all our lives with our family.
Since we were little, singing and playing the piano have been our favorite things to do. When our mom sat down to play piano and we would run towards her and sing along. We learned to communicate through music.
In high school we went to The Help Group, a specialized school for people with autism spectrum disorder where we had opportunities to sing with famous people in benefit concerts for the school. We sang with Temptation lead vocalist Louis Price, Ben Stiller, Zachary Levi, Ziggy Marley & Nina Storey.
After the Help Group, we continued studying music with our vocal coach Ebony Ann, who's an amazing vocalist herself. Coach Ebony arranges different opportunities and helps us prepare to perform live music in different places.
We’ve been able to perform for local elementary schools, Studio Channel Islands Art Center, AUT2RUN marathon, Ripple of Hope Awards Ceremony in Boston, the Miracle League of 805 Fundraiser, Jacob's Run, the Ventura Mission Church Special Needs Prom, and most recently FunFair Fundraiser in Oxnard.
Our goals for the future is to continue learning and performing. Our dream is to sing the National anthem at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles CA and to sing at Carnegie Hall in New York.
